Conditions of delivery and returns

General

The products in Biokia web store are sold by Kiantama Oy, business ID: 0306452-8. We sell products to adult individuals in Finland and the EU. Product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices and postage.

Orders

Products are first and foremost ordered in the Internet at www.biokia.en via the shopping cart.

All orders are confirmed by email, indicating the price of the order, shipping costs and the products ordered. To receive an order confirmation, an email address must be provided when ordering.

You agree to the terms of delivery for each order.

Confirmations for Orders and Payments

A confirmation is sent via email with:

  • a list of the products ordered
  • total invoice
  • tax specification

As a registered customer you are able to check the content of the order through the user account on our website biokia.fi. This requires that you have registered as an e-commerce customer before or during the order.

You will receive a payment confirmation from Paytrail plc indicating the amount of payment, the payment ID and date. Contact Paytrail (020 718 1830) if you have any questions regarding the payment transaction.

Delivery methods outside Finland

The order will be delivered as a postal package to your pick-up point or via home delivery. The delivery time is usually 4 to 7 business days after the package has left the warehouse.

Unfortunately we do not deliver to Norway, Switzerland, the Åland Islands, the Canary Islands and other areas outside the EU VAT area. The countries and regions in the EU tax area can be checked here.

Delivery costs to other EU countries than Finland are € 17.90 (+ € 2.50 for possible breakage). If the value of the order for international broadcasts exceeds €100, the delivery is free. The maximum order weight is 30 kg.

We process orders in order of arrival, usually within three business days. The processing speed may be faster or slower than stated, depending on the work situation of the warehouse, If the order contains products that are not in stock at the time of order, an order will be waiting for them to arrive at the warehouse.

All ordered products are delivered at once. You will receive an email confirmation of the order we have processed.

We use different transport companies for international deliveries. For more information on a package that has already left, please contact our customer service info@biokia.fi

Delivery Methods in Finland

Inside Finland, your shipment will be delivered by your choice, either by Posti, Matkahuolto or DB Schenker. We also deliver orders to all other EU countries (see Delivery Methods outside Finland).

Shipping charges for deliveries inside Finland are listed below. If the value of your order exceeds 50 € in Finland, the delivery fee is 0 €.

• The delivery fee with Posti is € 5.50 (+ € 2.50 for possible breakage), € 5.80 with Matkahuolto and € 4.30 with DB Schenker. When ordering products at least € 50, delivery fee is € 0. The maximum order weight is 30 kg *.
• The cost of home delivery with Posti is € 10.40 (+ € 2.50 for possible breakage) and € 11.20 with Matkahuolto. When ordering products at least € 50, delivery fee is € 0. The maximum order weight is 30 kg *.
• * = delivery fee for orders over 30 kg is 50 euros.

Pick Up from Posti Parcel Point

Delivery fee € 5.50 (+ € 2.50 possible breakable extra) or € 0 when the order value is at least € 50.

Your order will be delivered to your chosen Posti Parcel Point. You will receive a notification of an incoming message via SMS and email. The arrival message includes a PIN code that is fed to the parcel point machine during packet retrieval. After the package leaves our warehouse, its delivery time is normally 1-2 business days, to northern Finland 2-3 business days. The package is stored in the Parcel Point for 7 days.

Pick up from office

Shipping fee Posti 5.50 euros (+ possible breakage of € 2.50), Matkahuolto 5.80 € or DB Schenker € 4.30 or € 0 when the order value is at least € 50.

Your order will be delivered to your chosen office. You will receive a notification of your inbox by SMS. After the package leaves our warehouse, its delivery time is normally 1-3 business days, in the northernmost Finland 2-4 business days. The shipment is stored at the pick-up point for 7-14 days.

Home delivery

Delivery fee by Posti 10,40 euros (+ possible breakage of € 2,50) and Matkahuolto € 11,20 / € 0 when the order value is at least € 50.

The shipment will be delivered to your address on weekdays and in larger cities from 9 am to 9 pm. In other areas, shipments will be delivered by 2 pm. The postman will contact you by phone to agree on the delivery time.

Versatile payment methods

Paytrail corporation (2122839-7) is the provider of payment services in cooperation with Finnish banks. From the user’s perspective, the service works just like traditional online payment. Paytrail corporation appears as a payee on the bank statement and passes the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj has a payment institution license.

When you pay by bank or credit card, depending on the card issuer, you may need to confirm your payment with the bank’s online payment account ID.

Campaign or discount code

If you have received a promotional code for a discount or free shipping, you can enter it in the box provided for it in the shopping cart.

Gift certificate

You can use the gift card as a form of payment by entering the number of it in the box provided in the shopping cart.

Please note that you can only use one campaign code, gift card, or discount code at the same time.

Returns inside Finland

14 day cancellation right

As a consumer, you have the right, to declare the cancellation of the individual products or the entire order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

To obtain a full refund, the product must be in good condition and unopened.

To report a cancellation:

The cancellation can be made by any free-form notice that clearly indicates the desire to cancel the order. We recommend that you fill out our return form (PDF file). You can also report the information displayed on the form via free-form email.

Free customer return

Regardless of which delivery method you have placed your order, you can return it free of charge as a customer return to either Posti, Matkahuolto or DB Schenker.

When a shipping company asks for a return code while you submit a refund, use one of the following codes, depending on the carrier:

Products damaged in transit

If you find an order has been damaged during transportation, please contact our customer service.

Refunds

A refund for customer returns will be made using the payment method the customer originally used..
The refund will be paid within 14 days after we have recorded the return of the customer as received.
